Set
within the idyllic grounds of the Jebel Ali Golf Resort &
Spa, the 9-hole par 36 championship standard Resort Course is
both scenically stunning and an exciting challenge for golfers
of all abilities. Each hole is uniquely landscaped with exotic
trees and shrubs as well as the original desert flora such as
ghaf trees and cacti.
The wooden gazebos, views of the Arabian Gulf and
peacocks which freely roam the fairways have added a special
charm to this course.
It was designed by renowned architect Peter Harradine,
whose ability to integrate the design into the existing
landscape has resulted in a unique course which has received
praise from many of the world’s best golfers. In the past, star
golfers such as Tiger Woods, Ernie Els and Mark O’Meara have
played at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa golf course in the
Challenge Match charity tournament which preceded the Dubai
Desert
Classic.
